Marie Castor..
Registered Nurse / Clinical Operations Director,,....

Marie is a native of Haiti with a passion to serve God and to help the people of Haiti. The loss of her parents at a young age instilled in her a sense of community and the desire to give back. After the death of her parents, she got through school with the help of dedicated family members, most notably her uncle, Mr. Palera Louis-Jean, and his wife, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Nerva Cheremond. She moved to the U.S. after high school in 1986.

In 1996, Marie started working at RWJ Hamilton as a Unit Clerk while attending nursing school. She is a graduate of Mercer County Community College and Immaculata University, where she received her Bachelors degree in Nursing. She is currently a student at UMDNJ Nursing School, pursuing a Masters degree in Nursing, with a focus on Critical Care.

For the past 13 years, Marie has worked in different positions at RWJ Hamilton, from Clinical Coordinator to Director of Medical Surgery Oncology to Administrative Coordinator, which is her current position. She is a great asset to the ministry; her experience in nursing, both as a floor nurse and administratively, will be of great use. Marie is married to Villate Castor and is blessed with three children; Len, Rod’Esther, and Emelyn.
